0 of 6 Xiaomi entries list eSIM support; 5 more depend on the regional or carrier version. Check the exact regional model, its eSIM settings or EID, and its carrier-lock status before buying. An EID alone does not confirm that another carrier's eSIM can be installed.

The ones to check first
Depends on which country the unit was built for
The global unit has eSIM; the same model built for the Chinese market usually does not. Imported sets reach Pakistan both ways, and neither the box nor the model number settles it.

Worth checking before you buy
These need a look at your own unit before you buy.

No eSIM hardware at all
The chip is not in these at all, so no update and no setting will ever add it. For these models the answer stays no.
- POCO series — no eSIM
Before buying an imported handset or an eSIM plan, confirm the exact regional model, look for an EID or eSIM settings, and check that it is unlocked for another carrier. An EID identifies eSIM hardware; it does not by itself confirm that a different carrier’s plan can be installed.
Not sure about your unit?
The same model is built differently for different countries, so the phone in your hand needs checking. Dial *#06#: an EID beside the IMEI means the phone has eSIM hardware. Also confirm that eSIM is enabled and the unit is unlocked for another carrier; an EID alone does not confirm that a plan can be installed.
