Install guides — how to set up your eSIM

Choose your phone’s guide, then check the connection. These instructions use published manufacturer sources; menus depend on the exact model, region and software. They are not physical-device test results.

How to install an eSIM on iPhone (iOS)

Based on Apple’s current setup and dual-SIM guidance. Menus vary by iOS, region and carrier; no physical device test.

How to install an eSIM on Samsung (One UI)

Based on Samsung Canada/UK and US guidance. US Primary SIM can change calls, texts and data together; check your version. No physical test.

How to install an eSIM on Google Pixel

Based on Google’s current Pixel setup and dual-SIM guidance. Labels can differ by Android version; no physical test.

How to install an eSIM on Xiaomi (HyperOS / MIUI)

Based on Xiaomi’s current global activation FAQ. Older MIUI and regional models can have different menus and SIM limits; no physical test.

How to install an eSIM on Oppo (ColorOS)

The OPPO source supports SIM enable and default-data settings. The exact eSIM-add path was not verified for every regional model; confirm missing menus with the manufacturer. No physical test.

How to install an eSIM on Vivo (Funtouch OS)

Vivo’s official eSIM help and regional specifications were consulted. An exact menu sequence was not verified for every Funtouch model. This is a conditional checklist, not a physical test.

How to install an eSIM on Huawei (EMUI / HarmonyOS)

Based on Huawei guidance for selected models. The applicable product/region list matters; this is not a claim for every EMUI/HarmonyOS phone. No physical test.

How to install an eSIM on OnePlus (OxygenOS)

The official OnePlus Open manual lists Mobile network and eSIM sections, but not a complete add-menu sequence. Exact paths for other models/current versions still need confirmation; no physical test.

Once it is in, what works and what does not: WhatsApp and the internet on a non-PTA phone.

Installed eSIM, no internet: check in this order

These four states are different. Locate where the connection stops before changing anything.

Installed
The profile appears in SIM settings. This confirms a saved profile, not a connection.
Enabled
The line is turned on. It must also be selected for mobile data.
Registered on the network
The selected line has attached to a mobile network. Signal bars do not prove usable data, and this does not mean PTA registration.
Working data
A small webpage loads using that selected line with WiFi off. One working page does not guarantee every app or location.
  1. Check the plan and profile. Confirm remaining data and validity in your order. If the profile is missing or installation reports an error, stop here and ask the issuer; repeated scans are not a diagnosis.
  2. Check the active data line. Enable eJugaar and select it for Mobile data. Confirm which SIM will handle calls and SMS. Check automatic data switching so a test does not silently use another line.
  3. Allow roaming for eJugaar data. This product needs data roaming. If your phone uses a global roaming toggle, confirm the selected data SIM first. Another SIM can have its own roaming charges.
  4. Separate no signal from no data. Check your location and any known outage with support. No Service means the line has not connected; it does not identify the cause. Signal without a loaded webpage is a separate data problem.
  5. Make one small data check. Briefly switch WiFi off and load a small webpage, then restore WiFi if needed. If the page loads but one app fails, check that app’s data permission and official help. A speed test can consume much more of your allowance.
  6. Use only issuer-supplied settings. Do not guess an APN or copy a local carrier’s settings. Change it only if the issuer provides exact values for this profile. You can try Airplane mode on and off once, or a normal restart when it will not interrupt a needed call; neither guarantees a fix.
  7. Escalate with useful, limited details. Send the order reference, exact model and region, OS version, error wording, which of the four states you reached, and approximate place/time. Hide QR and activation codes, full IMEI/EID, bank details and other account data in screenshots. Never share a password, OTP or PIN.

Before issuer assistance, do not delete or reinstall the eSIM, reset the phone or reset network settings. Keep the profile in place. Disabling a line and deleting its profile are different; QR reuse and transfer are subject to issuer rules.
