0 of 4 Huawei entries list eSIM support; 3 more depend on the regional or carrier version. Huawei flagships have eSIM. Google services do not run on them, but that is no problem for data — eJugaar only needs the internet, not the Play Store.
Model by model

- Huawei nova series — no eSIM
The ones to check first
The Dual SIM unit has no eSIM
Huawei sells these in two shapes: the Single SIM unit has a nano-SIM and an eSIM, and the Dual SIM unit has two nano-SIM slots and no eSIM. Their own spec sheet says so; the box does not.
- P40 — depends on the variant
- P40 Pro — depends on the variant
- Mate 40 Pro — depends on the variant
No eSIM hardware at all
The chip is not in these at all, so no update and no setting will ever add it. For these models the answer stays no.
- Huawei nova series — no eSIM
Before buying an imported handset or an eSIM plan, confirm the exact regional model, look for an EID or eSIM settings, and check that it is unlocked for another carrier. An EID identifies eSIM hardware; it does not by itself confirm that a different carrier’s plan can be installed.
Not sure about your unit?
The same model is built differently for different countries, so the phone in your hand needs checking. Dial *#06#: an EID beside the IMEI means the phone has eSIM hardware. Also confirm that eSIM is enabled and the unit is unlocked for another carrier; an EID alone does not confirm that a plan can be installed.
